The territory of the Compadres is, always, the territory of the periphery. The territory of permanence, perenniality, constancy of the natural order of things: without ready-to-serve, where everything is unique, where everything is authentic. It is at Alentejo lands that we focus on: Alandroal, Alvito, Aljustrel, Barrancos, Beja, Borba, Castro Verde, Cuba, Estremoz, Évora, Marvão, Montemor-o-Novo, Moura, Mourão, Portel, Redondo, Serpa, Sousel, Vidigueira, Viana do Alentejo and Vila Viçosa.

 

In Alentejo, the warm earth feeds the large cork oaks, shades the slow herds and where centuries-old traditions survive modernity. Here we will seek and find authentic gastronomy, authentic nature and authentic people. We are essentially looking for a way of life, a simple, aesthetic and humanly enriching way of being.
