In Alentejo we find chocalhos (cowbells) dating back almost 2000 years, made by the Romans and in all similar to those made in the village of Alcáçovas. Well, we can learn that millenary art: from moulding the iron, to bleaching the bronze in an oven and, finally, fine-tuning it… all taught by a master!
